    A rare case report of T cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma masquerading as tubercular effusion

    Pleural fluid characterized by exudative, high adenosine deaminase (ADA) and lymphocytic predominant in a country with high prevalance of tuberculosis favours tuberculosis but sometimes it can be challenging. Here we present a case report of young male who presented to us with unilateral pleural effusion and pericardial effusion with mediastinal and cervical lymphadenopathy, as exudative high ADA, being started on anti– tubercular medications (ATT) and steroids who responded well initially but worsening of pleural and pericardial effusion made us re evaluate on our diagnosis and finally patient was diagnosed as T cell Lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LL).
